Accessibility
statement.

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. That is the standard UK public sector bodies are held to, and since we intend to supply them, we hold ourselves to it too. Below is what conforms, what doesn't yet, and how to tell us when we've got it wrong.

01 What we've done

Contrast Text and controls

Body text, links and interface labels are checked against AA contrast ratios in both light and dark themes. Muted text was darkened specifically to clear 4.5:1 on the light background.

Keyboard Navigation

All interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring that meets the 3:1 non-text contrast requirement. A skip link is provided.

Motion Animation

prefers-reduced-motion is respected throughout: transitions, reveals and animated scenes are disabled for anyone who has asked their system to reduce motion.

Structure Headings and landmarks

Pages use a single h1, a logical heading order, and semantic landmarks. Decorative graphics are marked aria-hidden so they aren't announced.

02 Known problems

The parts that are not yet conformant. We would rather list them than let you discover them.

IssueThe live console demo is visual-onlyThe simulated thermal feed on /demo.html and /dfr.html is a canvas animation with no text alternative describing what it shows. A non-visual user can read the event ledger beside it, but not the imagery. Fails 1.1.1.
IssueDiagrams carry limited alternative textThe architecture and integration diagrams are inline SVG without full text equivalents. The surrounding prose describes the same content, but the diagrams themselves are not independently accessible.
PartialLong code and command blocksVerification commands scroll horizontally on narrow screens. They are readable, but reflow at 320px is imperfect (1.4.10).
PartialNo formal auditThis statement is based on our own testing, not an independent accessibility audit. An external assessment is on the roadmap and has not happened.

We are not claiming full conformance while these are outstanding. Where a diagram or the demo is the only way to understand something, that is a defect, and a text route to the same information should exist — if you hit one that doesn't, please tell us and we will write it.
